16 Aug 2022 Breeding "fresh blood", the basis for the healthy and sustainable development of motorsports
When you see an unpretentious taxi circling the Zhuhai International Circuit, what do you think? Did the driver get lost? No, this taxi is one of the racers in the newly established Circuit Hero-Three (Challenge Class) competition at Zhuhai International Circuit this year!
After a lot of communications and in-depth discussions with the resident teams, ZIC set up the low-threshold entry-level competition - Circuit Hero-Three (Challenge Class) this year. The competition aims to attract more people who loves racing , allowing them to participate in safe, fair and just racing activities at a lower cost, feel the fun of racing, and cultivates more "fresh blood" for the competition.
According to CC, the team manager of Zhongshan SRC Team, the team where the "taxi" belongs, this car is a veritable taxi. At the beginning of the year, he learned that ZIC plans to launch Circuit Hero-Three (Challenge Class), which coincides with the electrification of the traditional taxis. Zhongshan Taxi Company needs to eliminate a batch of traditional taxis. These cars just meet the needs of the competition. Immediately the team bought a number of retired taxis at a very low price, and then modified 3 cars according to the competition rules to become race cars. The total cost of purchasing and modifying a car was controlled within 50,000 yuan. He said that in recent years, due to changes in the economic environment, everyone has become more cautious about spending money. This competition can help the team to attract more "fresh blood" and breed new drivers. CC said that the driver who is currently lapping the circuit is a "new blood" - he has not participated in any competitions, but because of his love for motorsports, and because of the Circuit Hero-Three (Challenge Class), this rookie driver now has a chance to truly unleash his love in the September race.
CC thanks ZIC for launching this competition, where new drivers can hone their skills, experience the race car, understand the track, and improve themselves in all aspects. This is a healthy process of development. A new driver can radiate to the people around him, allowing more people to realize they too can participate in motorsports. Only with the continuous addition of "fresh blood" can the economic and ecological chain of racing circuits and racing teams develop healthily and sustainably. Coupled with the perfect marketing and promotional mechanism of the Circuit Hero Series, it can meet the needs of drivers at all stages of growth. The development prospects of Circuit Hero-Three (Challenge Class) are very exciting.
On September 3-4, the Zhuhai Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Association Club Race will be held again at ZIC. How much "fresh blood" will emerge on the field, let us wait and see!
