On 14 November 2019, FIA Circuit Delegate Mr. Tim Schenken, CAMF Inspectors Mr. Zheng Jia-Chen and Mr. Sun Liang, accompanied by Zhuhai International Circuit General Manager Mr. Stewart Tan and Operations Director Ms. Penny Chen, conducted the routine triennial circuit inspection at Zhuhai International Circuit.

FIA and CAMF inspectors diligently inspect the circuit

Zhuhai International Circuit is an FIA Grade 2 circuit and is also the first permanent international circuit in China. It was built in 1996 and by now has a 23 years history. The circuit inspectors conducted a thorough and detailed inspection on all the safety facilities of Zhuhai International Circuit. They also provided modifications advices based on the latest safety requirements.

The inspectors diligently inspects the gravel bed

After the inspection is completed, FIA Circuit Delegate Mr. Tim Schenken said although Zhuhai International Circuit has a 23 years history, the circuit is very well maintained and is even better than some of the European circuits built in the same period.
