From September 3rd to 4th, Zhuhai International Circuit ushered in the second Zhuhai Motorsports Association Club Race this year. Circuit Hero-One also ushered in the qualifying session in the afternoon of September 3. In the end, Zhong Ke from MP Racing No. 55 successfully took the pole position ahead of tomorrow's Circuit Hero - One race with a great advantage.
Circuit Hero - One qualifying officially started at 16:00. In the 5th minute, the No. 28 car stopped on the grass at the T4 bend. The yellow flag was displayed and the qualifying continued. After two laps, Chen Zi-Yang, No. 88 of the Gaoge Racing Team, recorded a 1:40.742 lap, leading the field with a large advantage, followed by MP Racing No. 55 Zhong Ke, who managed a 1:38.987 lap, taking over the No. 1 spot.
In the 8th minute, the No. 94 car stopped on the grass at the T7 curve, the red flag was displayed, and the qualifying was suspended. Qualifying resumed after 3 minutes, and the top three were No. 55 Zhong Ke, No. 88 Chen Zi-Yang, and No. 77 Liao Dong-Cheng. Halfway through the race, the No. 58 car stopped on the grass at the T1 curve, the red flag was displayed again, and the qualifying session was suspended again. Qualifying resumed after 5 minutes, and the drivers continued to chase the pole position for the race tomorrow.
In the last five minutes, Zhong Ke managed a 1:38.535 lap, setting his fastest lap and extending his lead to 0.983 seconds. Chen Zi-Yang and Liao Dong-Cheng were still ranked second and third. Since then, the overall ranking stays unchanged. In the end, MP Racing No. 55 Zhong Ke won the pole position in the Circuit Hero - One race, with Gaoge Racing Team No. 88 Chen Zi-Yang and Gaoge Racing Team No. 77 Liao Dong-Cheng in second and third places respectively.
Zhong Ke, the pole-position winner for tomorrow's race, said, "Today I ran well as a whole, and I felt that my car was in good condition. I have been practicing for the past few days, and my form was also good. The rhythm was quickly picked up from the beginning of the session. For tomorrow's race, I am very confident and strive to win!"
