20 Sep 2020 Leading all the way - Jack Ao Ieong Fu takes second ZIC Superbike Race win

Zhuhai Motorsports Association Club Race continues to be held at Zhuhai International Circuit, ZIC Superbike Race 2 main race is held on 20 September. The weather is fine and bright. The track condition is much better than yesterday. The riders performed very well. In the end, Titanic Kawasaki Racing rider #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu takes race 2 victory with a big advantage, completing a weekend double.

Race 2 start

Race 2 main race begins at 12:35. A total of 19 riders are involved. With the same considerations for safety due to the weather, there will be 2 warm up laps for this race and the race distance will be reduced by 1 lap to 9 laps. At the start, pole position rider #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu successfully claims the lead position, #17 Lin Zhi-Fei makes a good start and moves up to second place from fourth place, making him a potential challenger to Jack Ao Ieong Fu.

On lap 2, #22 Sha Jun-Tong passes #17 Lin Zhi-Fei for second place. By now a leading quartet has formed. #2 Yuan Ji-Bo begins to gain speed and on lap 3 he sets the fastest race lap of 1:38.535, he passes many riders and is now running in second place overall.

At half distance, in the various classes, the orders are as follows: in CL2 class #22 Sha Jun-Tong enjoys a significant advantage; CL1 class #17 Lin Zhi-Fei has a 5 seconds advantage; CL3 class #911 Jia Rui has a firm grip on the class lead. By now #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu continues to lead with a comfortable lead, there appears to be no question of his winning the race.

On lap 7 CL2 class #68 Yu Yao-Long and #36 Jiang Zhuo-Ran are just 0.335 second apart and are fighting for second place in class. On the last lap, Jiang Zhuo-Ran successfully overtakes and move up to second in class. The race order sees no more changes. All the riders finish the race. #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu successfully takes his second race win of the weekend, after also winning the first race.

In the various classes, open class top 3 are Titanic Kawasaki Racing #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu, #2 Yuan Ji-Bo and #23 Hu Zhao-Neng; CL1 class top 3 are Titanic Kawasaki Racing #17 Lin Zhi-Fei, Jim777y Racing #79 Li Hai-Bo and #27 Zhou Feng-Long; CL2 class top 3 are Titanic Kawasaki Racing #22 Sha Jun-Tong, Shi Zhao Racing #36 Jiang Zhuo-Ran, Titanic Kawasaki Racing #68 Yu Yao-Long; CL3 top 3 are Shi Zhao Racing #911 Jia Rui, Jim777y Racing #41 Zhou Pei-Ran， Shi Zhao Racing #77 Zhong Ming-Da.

After the race, double race winner #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu said, "Today the weather was good and I felt much better myself. The bike felt good also, so we had a comfortable race under my own rhythm, allowing me to win.  For next year's Speed Hero races, I very much look forward to them myself and I certainly will take part." At the same time, female rider Jia Rui, who took two wins in CL3 class, said, "In the free practice a few days ago I had a few incidents, So I was worried before the main race, I want to thank my race team for tuning my bike to its best condition, helping me to take two class victories."
