It is a sunny day and the track conditions are excellent. Pan Delta Autumn Race welcomes the qualifying session of Speed Hero. After two 20 minutes sessions for the two classes, Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #26 Li Zheng-Peng sets a best lap of 1:34.783 and takes pole position with a clear advantage. |

First on track are the Speed Hero 600cc class. The session officially begins at 15:40 with 18 riders taking part. Soon after the start of the session, #76 Wada Ruka gets the ball rolling with a 1:41s lap and takes provisional pole position. Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #777 Li Zong and #2 Yuan Ji-Bo soon gets down to 1:42s to take second and third places. Then on lap 4, #2 Yuan Ji-Bo also makes it down to 1:41s and puts himself in second place. At the same time, #22 Sha Jun-Tong overtakes Li Zong for third place. At half distance, Wada Ruka improves to 1:39.879 to put a lock on pole position. Yuan Ji-Bo also gets down to 1:40.342 to put second place out of reach of the rest. It is now a battle for third between Li Zong and Sha Jun-tong. On the last lap, Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #777 Li Zong sets a 1:41.355, just 0.01 second ahead of Sha Jun-Tong, to finish the session in third place. |

1000cc qualifying session begins next. The session starts at 16:10 with 10 riders involved. Right at the start, Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #26 Li Zheng-Peng shows that he is on good form and sets a 1:35.268 for provisional pole. #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu and Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #59 Ho Chi-Fung are second and third. |

4 laps later, Jack Ao Ieong Fu improves to 1:35.634 to put some pressure on Li Zheng-Peng. But Li simply goes even faster and he sets a 1:34.783 to put pole position beyond reach. #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu and #59 Ho Chi-Feng finish in second and third places. After combining the results of the two qualifying sessions, the grid for the first five positions are: Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #26 Li Zheng-Peng, #99 Jack Ao Ieong Fu, Yamaha Man Lee Tat Racing #59 Ho Chi-Fung, #71 Dan Kruger and #92 Cheung Wai-On. |
