18 Jan 2018 New Look Pan Delta: Speed Hero sets sail again

Pan Delta Super Racing Festival is the leading regional race in the country, it has combined international races, regional tuned road car races and superbike races to form a huge event. It is the benchmark for similar events. The Circuit Hero series is the leading race series for car tuning shops in the region, it has many fans and participants. Pan Delta's other charismatic race "ZIC Superbike", after many years of development, is another mainstay.

In 2018, ZIC Superbike will be renamed Speed Hero, under the new name, it will provide even more exciting racing for the spectators.

Today, with many types of motorsports being very similar, creating its own IP is one of the most important jobs for all the race events. "Pan Delta" series has gone through years of development, having gained a good reputation for race organization. Circuit Hero series is also hugely successful. The upgrading of "Speed Hero" means Pan Delta will begin a twin brand strategy.  

Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) General Manager Stewart Tan said," "ZIC Superbike Race" as a regional race has been in operation for years. There are a lot of fans and participants. Last year this race received FIM approval and upgraded to regional international race. This is our honour and opportunity. With this chance, we have mixed in our own race IP, upgrading it to a branded race. With the brand operation, this race can attract even more spectators and participants, shaking off ZIC's regional restriction. This is beneficial for the race development."

The upgraded "Speed Hero" is not restricted to hosting races in Zhuhai. In the not too distant future, the race will spread its wings and tackle its first race outside Zhuhai at Zhengzhou International Auto Park. "Zhengzhou does not have its own motorcycle races, through this co-operation, we can expand the race's influence, Zhengzhou will get an exciting race. This is a win-win result." Stewart Tan said.

"Speed Hero" will become the second branded race after Circuit Hero for ZIC. It will further explore the motorsport market within the country. For the two race brands, one will focus on tuned and modified race cars, the other is firmly rooted in the Superbike market. Both race brands are the leaders in their respective markets both in terms of influence and commercial value.

ZIC's twin brand strategy must also improve "Pan Delta" and ZIC's influence. It will help ZIC explore other areas geographically and continue to lead the market place in Chinese motorsports.

Behind the more and more exciting races, there is a more and more professional support team. "Speed Hero" will be like Circuit Hero series, a professional team will construct its service and support systems. "Twin brand" operation, in the future both race series will offer even more exciting races for everybody.
