At noon on 18 September 2016, Pan Delta grandstand is full of people, almost of them focusing on the GT race cars of Circuit Hero-One. Beautiful models accompany the cars and drivers to the grid, creating a buzzing atmosphere before the race.

The second race begins, Guo Guo-Xin’s Mercedes SLS GT3 starts from its customary front row position, behind him is Huang Xi-Zhan, Tommy Chan, Liu Peng, Su Ying-Kang… etc. With the end of the warm-up lap, the crowd gets on their feet to anticipate the exciting rolling start. SLS continues to lead but the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 are able to keep up.

Before the end of lap 1, Huang Xi-Zhan has passed teammate Guo Guo-Xin for the lead. Guo Guo-Xin is not used to running second but he bides his time. Huang continues to lead on lap 2 with Guo behind him. Not far behind the pair are Liu Peng and Tommy Chan, the quartet forming the lead group. Huang Xi-Zhan makes the fastest lap of 1:42.428. Liu Peng closes in on Guo’s SLS but he is still not within striking distance. The situation seems to stabilize. Guo Guo-Xin seems to be comfortable in his position, sometimes pushes Huang a little and sometimes helps him defend.

On lap 5, Huang Xi-Zhan and Guo Guo-Xin exchange positions, but just a lap later Huang is back in the lead. Third placed Liu Peng slips on other car’s oil and drops back. Tommy Chan now runs in third place. Behind him are cars such as the Seat Leon and Mitsubishi Evo 9. Fresh from finishing his Circuit Hero-Three race, Li Ye-Long runs in first position of C class.

At 11:30, after Guo Guo-Xin has ridden shotgun for Huang Xi-Zhan for much of the race, he finally takes the lead on the last lap. The two drivers cross the finish line close by each other. Liu Peng has also fought back to within 1 second of Tommy Chan, but there is nothing more he could do. The top 3 are Guo Guo-Xin, Huang Xi-Zhan and Tommy Chan.

After the race, Guo Guo-Xin said he is very happy to win the championship. Huang Xi-Zhan suffered a mechanical problem in the race, he was concerned with it early on but is really satisfied to finish second overall. About the competition on track, he is crying out for more competitors. “I hope there are new rivals in Circuit Hero-One such as the Huracan GT in the Spring race.”

Tommy Chan finishes third as he did in race one. He praised his opponents, at the same time confirming his continued participation in Circuit Hero next year. Liu Peng, who lost third place in unfortunate circumstances, said, “Although I slipped on oil at turn 1, it is difficult to chase the leaders when we met backmarkers. So I am very satisfied to finish in fourth place.”

For the series title, Guo Guo-Xin takes the GT3 class crown with 50 points. In GT class, Huang Xi-Zhan is the winner with 46 points. Class A is won by Xie Rui-Lun; class B by Ulrich Sanne and class C by Tang Gui-Wen.
