16 Sep 2017 Grid settled, looking forward to main race - Circuit Hero-Three qualifying

Circuit Hero-Three qualfiying begins at 17:25 on 16 September. The 20 minutes session is a good chance for the drivers to get acclimatised to their cars and the track.

Class A5 #70 Hu Qi-Ming/Tan Yun manages a 2:02.279 on their first lap. But soon afterwards #88 also from A5 class makes a 1:57.891 to topple them.

Another lap later, #88 Lin Wei-Hong/Badaraco further improves to 1:54.430. #70 also gets within 2 minutes. For now A1 class is led by #6 Huang Zhi-Cong/Chen Jian-Wei with a 2:01.380, which is good enough for third overall.

As the qualifying session continues, the drivers on track keep trying to improve their lap times. In the end, #88 Lin Wei-Hong/Badaraco's Chevrolet takes overall pole position with a 1:53.075, $6 Huang Zhi-Cong/Chen Jian-Wei is second on the grid in their Toyota Vitz with a 2:01.380. $68 Yang Shuo/Xie Jin-Xian's Honda Fit is third overall with a 2:01.892.
