09 Oct 2014 Circuit Hero Two B: Heroes reappear

After the conclusion of Circuit Hero Two A race, Two B entrants begin to enter the track for the last race of the day. The cars in class B are even more civilian, everyone of them is available on the market. Among them are Toyota Vitz, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit...etc. These small capacity cars are not highly modified, but the drivers and cars are very evenly matched.

As the sun begins to set, the class B cars line up on the grid. On pole position is no. 39 Liu Jia-Lun in his Toyota Yaris. His lap time is a commendable 2:00.802. For a small capacity car, this is a very good time and shows clearly why Liu Jia-Lun is considered one of the leading Shenzhen drivers. Second to fifth on the grid are Deng Gui-Feng, Zhong Zhi-Jun, Liu Yi-Feng and Zeng Jian-Wen, their lap times are below 2:02 and are competitive. The race will surely be fiercely contested.

As the red lights go off, the race begins. But pole-sitter Liu Jia-Lun is unable to start. The cars behind him try to take avoiding actions, but no. 22 Zeng Jian-Wen is unsighted and hit the right rear wheel of Liu Jia-Lun. Zhong Zhi-Jun has taken advantage of the mayhem and leads the race, with Deng Gui-Feng in second place. Liu Jia-Lun's car manages to start after being hit but with its wheel askew it soon retires.

There was another car that failed to start on the grid and is still on the main straight. Race officials sends out the safety car to lead the field. Zhong Zhi-Jun leads with Deng Gui-Feng second and Liu Xiao-Hong in third place.

On lap 3, the safety car returns to the pitlane and #75 Zhong Zhi-Jun takes off with Liu Yi-Feng in pursuit. The duo soon leave the rest of the field behind. At turn 1, anothe race car spins and stops on the track, but he is able to re-join the race.

On lap 5, Liu Yi-Feng begins to attack Zhong Zhi-Jun at turn 1 by going for the inside line. But he is not close enough. In the next few corners, Liu Yi-Feng also attempts to overtake but Zhong Zhi-Jun defends very well and denies Liu.

After turn 10, Liu Yi-Feng makes another move. The two cars run side by side but with Zhong on the inside line the move fails again. On the last lap, Liu Yi-Feng tries again but his way is blocked once again and he has to settle for second place.

In the end, Circuit Heo Two B is won by Zhong Zhi-Jun, Liu Yi-Feng finishes second and Huang Wen-He is third.
