10 Jun 2014 Great Day Out for the family - 2014 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival (Summer Race)

On 14-15 June 2014, Pan Delta Super Racing Festival will arrive on a day when fathers are celebrated.

Father's Day is not as important a festival as most other festivals in China, a father is the man who shoulders the responsibilities of the family without complaint. In the 2014 Father's Day at the Pan Delta event, give your father a nice surprise!

Pan Delta is now an established family entertainment event. In the summer race, let's celebrate with our fathers. In the motorsport culture area, the visitors may see an introduction on the development of the motor car through the vintage cars display. The visitors can also see how a racing car is refuelled, re-tyred and maintained, as well as have their photographs taken in a race suit with race queens and race cars. They may get their Pan Delta passports stamped, too. Trust Pan Delta for a great gift to your father!

While the father has his picture taken with the race queen and race car, there is something for the mother, too. There Drivers/Riders Autograph Sessions organized on both Saturday and Sunday. The fans may collect a great poster and come into close contact with the drivers. This is not exclusive to fathers. In addition there are over 20 food stalls, a new trampoline and electrain train set for small children. There is surely something for the entire family.

Back to the on-track action. There is a record breaking 65 car field in the Circuit Hero Two race. Imagine the cars lining up all the way to the last corner. These local drivers, likely someone you know, are well prepared for competition. If you like to see a modified saloon car, then this is unmissable.

Apart from the regular races like Circuit Hero and ZIC Superbike, the new from 2013 Red Bull Drift Challenge also has a new surprise. Japanese drift driver Nobushige Kumakubo will be the judge for the event. China's no. 1 drifter Zhang Shao-Hua and Australian drifter Jake Jones will also take part for the first time. If you are still not interested, then the addiiton of Jacqueline Chong, Alex Fong Chung-Shun and Chin Ka-Lok in the Clio Cup China race surely will.

For those interested in Chinese motorsport developments, we have saved the real heavy hitting race for last. Asia Talent Cup has come to Pan Delta! The brand new Asia Talent Cup, established by FIM MotoGP™ and Superbike Grand Prix promoter Dorna, is aimed at providing a platform for young Asian riders to develop their talents. 22 Asian riders will take part. Among them is Chinese rider Chen Yuan-Hang, the only Chinese representative and he needs your support!

Apart from the races and fans activities, there are plenty more from the event sponsors and merchandizers in the commercial area. There will be the regular stage performances, race car exhibitions, vintage cars, souvenirs, Pan Delta passports and pit lane visits. Red Bull will continue to run its kart promotion, while Shell Oils, GT Tyres, Yamaha, Wuyang Honda, Kawasaki Motorcycles, Pirelli tyres etc will also be showing off their latest products. There will be plenty of prizes to be won, too!

Especially worth mentioning is that both Yamaha and Mini have chosen to launch news cars during Pan Delta. The 2014 Mini F56 launch will include not just dances, but a mystery CBA star. Who is that? Come and find out!
