23 Mar 2014 Red Hot Pan Delta ignites the 2014 motorsports season

On 23 March 2014, the 2014 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Spring Race ends under the warm sunshine. 14 races over two days involving supercars, grassroot touring cars, superbikes, formula cars and drift racing, Pan Delta once again pulls in the crowd by its excellent combination of motorsports. Forty thousand fans over two days, need us say more?

Blossoming Festival

Pan Delta is now a tradition for the Pearl River Delta motorsport fans. For three times a year, the fans in the region call their families and friends to come to the coastal city of Zhuhai for a motorsport themed weekend holiday. Pan Delta's various races are the topic on their lips. Not everyone are experts on mechanical engineering or aerodynamics, but they don't need these knowledges to enjoy the races. There are plenty of activities on and off track for them to enjoy with their families and friends and that is quite enough. This is why Pan Delta is so successful.

Pan Delta's high attendance proves that the fans approve of this type of event. Behind the grandstand, in the commercial area, various activities and displays are real rewards for the fans. Red Bull not only entertain the fans on track, but also in the commercial area with kart experience drives. Quizes are also popular with fans. ZIC's vintage car exhibition also give families with young children something with educational value. Add the numerous food and beverage stalls, including Starbucks Coffee, there really is nothing amiss here.

The gathering of fans attract even more commercial partners. Honda provide its Accord to be the official safety car, Sheraton Hotel Zhongshan is the catering service provider. Pan Delta's commercial value is being realized.

Improved race organization

The fun has been the same but the race itself is improving. Contrast with the races before, Pan Delta has made numerous changes. Red Bull Drift Battle has added a "boxer" for the cars to "punch", enhancing its spectator value. One make race series Scirocco Cup China and Clio Cup China joined in the programme, enriching the spectacle.

The biggest change though, is in the Circuit Hero races. This popular grassroot race series has added a new race "Circuit Hero V" into its category, allowing the best local drivers another shot at glory. This means more race miles for the drivers and on the other hand gives more spectacle to the fans. The 39 Circuit Hero V drivers happily competed in another headline race.

In the brink of an eye, the 2014 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Spring Race has ended. But the spectacle, the smell of burning rubber and gasoline will take a long time to disappear from memory. Pan Delta is now a tradition that belongs not just to ZIC, but also to the fans and commercial partners. See you again on 14-15 June!
