Hong Kong actress Jacquelin Chong confirmed her participation in the 2014 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival’s Clio Cup China Series. In order to hone her racing skills, she had already been practicing in Zhuhai for couple of days.
Jacquelin Chong, from Malaysia, is a famous model and actress and had taken part in several Hong Kong movies. She joined the grid for the 2013 One Foundation Celebrity Race in Shanghai and took 1st runner-up in Female Group. In that particular race event, her enthusiasm towards car racing was provoked and, since then, had been learning to drive a Clio Cup race car during the winter. After several days of training, Jacqueline had decided to participate in this year’s Clio Cup races, and will be driving a race car sponsored by Pude Pharmacy. Apart from Jacquelin, several more artists were also taking part in the Clio race car training and may well announce their participations soon.
Clio Cup China Series will enter its 6th year. This year, the series will make a historical trip to Sepang, Malaysia for one round of racing. On top of that, there will be races held in Zhuhai, Shanghai, Shanghai Tianma Circuit and Chengdu to complete the 5-weekends calendar. With Jacquelin and possibly more artists to join up the grid, the 2014 Clio Cup China Series is even more fascinating.
The season will kick start in March 22-23 at Zhuhai International Circuit. Please stay tuned for more news on our series.
