After a 3-month summer break, 2013 AFR Series returns to action at Zhuhai International Circuit as the finale of the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival on 13-15 September.

For this round of AFR race, FRD Racing Team will be hoping for a podium finish with their new 19-year-old female racer Naomi Schiff. Schiff, who had just won in Clio Cup China Series at Chengdu, has been racing in Europe and even once took part in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. She will be hoping for a debut podium in the AFR Series, but she will face an uphill battle with the established drivers, including fellow female driver, Alexandra Asmasoebrata, who will be racing for Champ Motorsport this time.

Except Asmasoebrata, Champ Motorsport will also field Championship leader Julio Acosta for the race. His main job for this race is to keep Buzz Racing’s Shimono Shigetomo at bay. The Japanese team, which allied with Champ, will also have former AFR Champion Yuki Shiraishi in their roster. Hong Kong driver Victor Yung and William Lau will also make their debut race of the season.

PS Racing will be fielding 3 cars. Driving Coach Pete Olson will take part alongside Neric Wei and Sunny Wong. Their goal for this race would be breaking Champ Motorsport’s domination for the year.

ART will have 5 drivers for this round. Thomas Luedi and Leo Wong will again be gunning for Master Class victory, with teammate Robert Buchheit joining them. Young driver Ni Wei Liang will be joined by Li Chao, a series returnee, for this round.

KRC Racing will return with young drivers Jason Kang and Leo Ye, while PTRS will have Taiwanese movie director Jem Chan on board for the race.

The weekend will be started with 2 practice sessions on Friday (13/9). Qualifying will be on Saturday (14/9) morning with Round 7 in the afternoon. Round 8 will be on Sunday (15/9) afternoon as the finale of Pan Delta Super Racing Festival.
