The 2013 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival is ready to stage the first event in the Chinese motorsport year on 16-17 March at Zhuhai International Circuit. With the addition of the Red Bull Drifting Battle, there is added spectacle. Also on hand are the Classic Cars and Formula Student exhibits. Pan Delta is ready, are you?

With the sky still just clearing after the fireworks that ushered in the Year of the Snake, 2013 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Spring Race is now almost upon us. The event will draw the curtains for the new Chinese motorsport year. Every year, this 8 year old motorsport event series, due to its grassroot and freshening style, has earned continuous praise from everyone involved. This year's Pan Delta is no exception, apart from the now traditional ZIC Superbike Championship, Formula race and Circuit Hero races, the newly introduced Red Bull Drifting Battle will be a great eye-catcher with its fancy cars and exciting action. It can be foreseen that this spectacular event will add more interest into the Pan Delta event.

Drifting has been spectacular since its incarnation. Red Bull Drifting Battle is the latest addition to Pan Delta Super Racing Festival. With drifting drivers from Japan, Hong Kong, Macau as well as mainland China, the skill level is sure to be from the top drawer. Among them are Japanese female driver Saori Ishikawa and ZIC's very own James Tang. The two will battle along the main straight in front of the grandstand. This 900m long and 24m wide straight will be turned into the ultimate drift battle ground using cones. Drivers will have to slide and drift their ways around and anything the leading car does, the following car will have to do the same! This event is sponsored by well known energy drink Red Bull. With a prize to be won, all the drivers will be doing their utmost to achieve victory. We simply can't wait!

While introducing new events, Pan Delta has also worked on maintaining its traditions, insisting on having Formula cars, Superbikes and the popular Circuit Hero races, so the fans will be able to feast their eyes on these great races. The bravery of the Superbike riders, the professionalism of the formula car racers and the friendliness and heroism of the Circuit Hero drivers. In fact one of the drivers could just be your next door neighbour. Come and cheer for your heroes!

In the merchandizing area, Pan Delta has maintained its festive traditions, providing lucky draws, pit garage visits to the fans. Maybe you can find various unexpected surprises in the area. For this event, there are no less than 5 centenarian classic cars on display. Hundred year old classics cars are rare sights, if you want to find out which 5 cars are on display, then you will have to come to the party.

While remembering the historic side of the motor car, Pan Delta has not forgotten about the future. For this event, the organizers invited 4 Chinese universities to showcase their students' knowledge and technique with their self-made formula race cars, allowing the fans to witness the starting point of Chinese motorsports. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, Chinese drivers will be able to race in F1 with a home made racer. The display area is a combination of the past and the future, history and technology. This is a place not just for motorsport or motoring enthusiasts, but also a place for learning. So parents, bring your children!

Apart from the displays, all the businesses have been busy organizing events for the fans. As the main sponsor, Red Bull will be here with an all new stand and an exciting drifting interactive game to welcome the fans. International hotel chain Sheraton Zhongshan will provide their 5-star catering for the VIPs at the circuit. Other activities such as the Pan Delta Passport, discounted souvenirs, BBQ and beer party are here as usual. "The most important person is opposite you." This is a quote by Mr. Stewart Tan, ZIC General Manager. The entire Pan Delta is organized based on this quote, by providing the best motorsport experience to the attending fans. This has been a key principle of the Pan Delta in the past 8 years.
