Born in the Guangdong region in China, Zhang Shan Qi, at only 20 years of age, will be at the start the final round of the ILMC again this year.

Zhang Shan Qi has been involved in motorsports for three years, he started in karts, then moved up to Formula Renault Asia, and went to Australia to compete in the F3 Winter Series. Funded by PTRS, a local team assembled by Jimmy Lin, a star of the entertainment business in China, he had the honour of taking the start of 1000 km of Zhuhai in 2010, he finished the race 9th with Steve Zacchia and Jeffrey Lee. This performance earned him an invitation to race three rounds of the LMS series this year at the wheel of the FLM of team Hope PoleVision Racing. Third in class at the 6 hours of Imola 2011, Zhang Shan Qi is ready to for his date with destiny.
