Since winning the Formula Le Mans (FLM) class in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup -1000km of Zhuhai race in November 2010, Chinese driver Zhang Shan-Qi has attracted the interest of Switzerland's HPV racing team. This year, HPV racing will take part in the FLM class in the Le Mans Series, setting itself up for promotion to LMP1.
 

HPV racing will also launch a new hybrid car for LMP1. HPV team boss Benoit Morand said, "I am confident about our chances this year. I expect Shan-Qi to make his way into the LMP1 class soon!"
