In the Circuit Hero 500km Endurance Race today, the Track Torque run the no. 7 Caterham is racing not just for glory, but also for charity.

That's because every kilometre that the three drivers William O’Brien, Steve Garner and Nigel Farmer complete, will raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Hong Kong.

Ronald McDonald House is a charity that provide accomodation for sick children and their parents, so that the parents can accompany their children to hospital and go through the healing process together. William O'Brien has suffered the tragedy of losing his daughter and is very appreciative of what the Ronald McDonald House does. Therefore, he decided to work with the other two drivers to try to do something for the charity.

Yesterday (Saturday), the team has already hosted two young children at the circuit. They were even invited to try the cockpit of their race car for size.

Currently they have received support from over 100 organizations and individuals, including Coca-Cola. All the supporters' names are on the car. The three drivers will bear the running costs of the car and the team, allowing every single dollar raised to be donated to Ronald McDonald House. If they do manage to finish the full 500km, they will be able to raise HK$400,000.

The money raised is directly linked to the kilometres that the car can complete, so please cheer the team on to complete as many km as possible!
