At 10am on 20 June 2010, ZIC Superbike kicks off the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival summer race action. It is a good wakening call for all who comes to this motorsport carnival. The scream of the superbike engines will surely turn anyone fully awake.

The weather today is less bright than yesterday, more cloudy with a slight breeze, definitely more comfortable for everyone. The cooler temperature might have caught some of the riders out, for on the warm up lap, no. 8 Yan Kwok Sing suddenly makes a wrong turn and no. 13 So Siu-Hung was unable to avoid him, the two made contact and crashed. Due to this accident, the race has to be delayed. The marshals quickly cleared the track. One of the riders helped with the clearing work but the other was helped to the side of the track and transferred to the ambulance.

Five minutes later, the race re-starts. No. 9 Wang Zhu starts from pole position and smoothly takes first place at turn 1. But he could not hold on for long, one lap later, no. 57 Du Bang has taken over as the leader. No. 26 Li Zheng-Peng also closes in on the pair half a lap later and passes between the last two corners. The three of them then run close together, barely 0.1 second separate them. No. 125 David Sadowski soon catches up and finds himself in third place.

On lap 3, David Sadowski's gap to the top two has grown to 4.5 seconds, while the gap between the two leaders is only 0.2 second. This could be beneficial to David as the leaders battle will allow him to close up and even pass them. This theorectical scenario though did not materialize, as no. 26 Li Zheng-Peng moves steadily away, grows his lead to 2.3 seconds and leaves Du Bang gasping for air.

The leading riders' positions are settled, the race goes into a relative peaceful period. In the end, no. 26 Li Zheng-Peng wins comfortably, no. 57 Du Bang and no. 125 David Sadowski finish in second and third respectively.
