22 Jun 2008 ZIC, Haizhu Beer, Zhuhai Charity Federation jointly prayed for good fortune and raise funds

On 22 June, during the Frestech Pan Delta Super Racing Festival, as Haizhu Beer and ZIC offers great racing to the race fans, Zhuhai Charity Federation held a charity event called “Pray with heart; Let’s love runs free” . It aims to showcase the Zhuhai local brands’ social responsibilities, letting Zhuhai enterprises to join hands with the public in providing hope and prayers to the earthquake victims. The activty includes charity sales, collections and prayers. It attracted lots of citizens to take part and all the collected funds will be donated to the Zhuhai Charity Federation.

At the scene, Zhuhai Charity Federation’s personnel tied yellow ribbons on all the participants, prayed with them and took their messages for the victims. A song composed by the Zhuhai musicians association, known as “Home is where love is” is also presented at the scene. In addition, the organizers set up a “Prayer Balloon”, where passers-by can sign their names and write their messages for the victims. All the Haizhu Beer products were on sale at cost, all the income will be donated to the charity federation for the disaster areas. Many citizens gave more than the cost price. Mr. Zhang, who paid a lot more than the cost price for a bottle of Haizhu beer, said, “This is the most expensive bottle of beer I have ever had, but it is also the most worthy and meaningful bottle.”

The great response meant Haizhu’s beers ran out of stock and they have to order extra stock from the factory.

In addition, Haizhu Beer and ZIC offered interesting gifts for charity sales, such as driver autographed race suits. ZIC also organized “Earthquake charity donation test rides”, the public can experience high speed rides around the track on Porsches or Formula Renaults. Just like the other events, all the income from the test rides are donated to Zhuhai Charity Federation.
