16 Sep 2016 Alternate Mid-Autumn Celebration - 2016 Pan Delta curtain closer commences soon

This year’s Pan Delta Super Racing Festival curtain closer coincides with the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. Therefore the driving heroes will see if their dreams of title glory materialize during this festive period. On 17-18 September 2016, Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Autumn Race will be held on Zhuhai International Circuit. The competition for the series titles and the numerous interactive activities in the commercial area, makes this a truly festive event.

Competition for series titles are red hot

In relation to previous years, this year’s Pan Delta enjoys more fierce competition because the drivers and their machinery are more professional now. More and more manufacturers are looking at this flagship motorsport event and try to enter into the competition. The teams and drivers who grew up with Pan Delta are also becoming more and more professional and in strength. Their levels are on par with many professional race teams.

In the two previous Pan Delta races, the lap times as well as driving standards have achieved high standards. We know this not just from the results but also from their regular practices. In order to achieve the best possible result, Foshan Xiongji Pit Garage have arrived a week early at ZIC to begin preparations. These private race teams are getting more and more serious in their support and service.

Title winners to be revealed

Three races a year and this is the last race. This race is very important for the drivers and teams, especially in classes that are enjoying close competition. The points difference are small, the last race will determine who wins the series title.

In the very competitive Circuit Hero races, Circuit Hero-One GT3 class is led by John Shen with 34 points. Guo Guo-Xin is second with 30 points. Guo suffers from one DNF so despite winning the other 3 races, he is behind on points. John Shen is missing this race so Guo Guo-Xin should have a clear run to title glory. Circuit Hero-Two A2 class is very competitive, Chen Bing-Xiong leads with 15 points while Xiao Jia-Wei, Luo Zheng-Lin are joint second with 10 points. The results of the top 3 will be hard to tell until the chequered flag drops.

As the only Superbike battle ground in the country, ZIC Superbike is highly regarded by the manufacturers and importers. Some of the works teams employ foreign high caliber riders to compete in the race series, enhancing local riders levels in the process. The seasonal finale between Yamaha, Ducati and Kawasaki simply cannot be missed.

The adrenaline pumping Red Bull Drift Battle will continue to have football obstacle race and the chase. Federico Sceriffo, Sit Kun, Liu Zuo, Emmanulle Amandio and James Tang are all closely matched. Who will become the Drift King of the year? Come and witness the race for yourself.

The honours of Pan Delta Champion not only represents personal glory, it also concerns the race teams and the tuning shops behind the race teams. Pan Delta is the most popular race event for tuning shops and the level of tuning and modification is very high. Pan Delta, especially Circuit Hero is now the barometer for the tuning industry. Showcasing new technology, products and services. The tuning shops are using the event to out-perform each other and are highly motivated to win all the titles they enter. Young drivers show off their talents

Asia Talent Cup is established to discover and nurture young riders in Asia, so that they maybe able to progress to higher levels of racing in Europe or on the world stage. This is the third year that this single make race platform joins Pan Delta. This is confirmation of their support for the race event. We will see over 20 young riders battling it out at ZIC and please show your support for them.

Never ending benefits

There are numerous commercial or promotional stalls at Pan Delta. Apart from race car shows by GT Tires, Yamaha, BMW and Asian Le Mans series, visitors can also see a simulated pit garage and experience the GT race car simulator. There are lots of gifts to give away and you could even get electronic tickets for the Asian Le Mans series Zhuhai race on 30 October.

Buy two bottles of Red Bull energy drink and you may enter the Radio Control car race for free. The winner of the race will receive a 1:18 Red Bull F1 aluminum alloy race car. There are also 6 drivers/riders autograph session, allowing you to meet your favourite driver/rider. During the Pan Delta event the kart circuit is still open for business. Apart from the auto element, the Melaka Cultural Centre and ZIC Enhancement and Refurbishment Experience Area are also open to the visitors. Pan Delta have also brought in creative market for the firt time. A group of high school art lovers will hand make some creative arts work on site. In addition, about 30 restaurants will set up stalls in the Pan Delta Gourmet Festival. There are bouncy castles as well to satisfy the whole family.
