28 May 2016 Circuit Hero Two Qualifying

At 4:00pm on 19 March 2016, the first day of Pan Delta Spring Race is nearing the end. The fog that has covered Zhuhai for the whole day is finally dispersing, the sun is shining now, just as Circuit Hero Two begins its qualifying.

With the huge number of participants, it is hard for any one of the 47 cars to get a clear lap. Therefore the qualifying session is divided into two 20 minutes sessions. 14 cars from A1 and A2 classes will qualify first while the second 20 minutes will be for the A3/A5 and A6 classes. Familiar drivers like Kuang Can-Wei, Lu Jia-Le, Liu Peng, Xiao Jia-Wei etc are in this group. Comparatively the cars in this group are also more powerful and faster, such as BRZ, Scirocco, GTi etc.

In the end Xiao Jia-Wei of A2 class wins pole position with 1:46.425. Zhang Qian-Shang driving a BRZ takes second with 1:47.524. Chen Zhong in A1 class takes third place with 1:49.010 while Ding Shan of A2 class is in fourth position with 1:49.353.

In the next 20 minutes, A3/A5/A6 class cars also take on qualifying. The gap in lap time is rather big which is a result of car modification and driver skills. Some of the drivers are very close to each other in terms of lap times and six of them qualify within a tenth of each other. This has made us anxious to find out who will win tomorrow.
