After 15 races of various categories over two days, a weekend where attendance reaches 30,000 despite security controls. The excitement on track is only matched by the business off track. Pan Delta is a step ahead of everyone.

Setting many records

In the spring of 2005, when Pan Delta organizers started planning the race events, they had no idea it would reach the heights they have reached today. It is now the event with the most varied races, cars  modified to the highest level, highest number of fans and highest level of commercial participation.

Pan Delta has a lot to be proud of, but just one thing is enough: It is the one race event where because there truly are too many fans, the pressure on security forces the event to limit the number of spectators. Pan Delta has always been a race event for the commoner. The commoners come to the race and turn into fans, then fans bring more fans, with a lot of fans the businesses come and they help to improve ths show.

A simple theory but only Pan Delta has achieved it so far. That is because of Pan Delta's continued effort to improve the show and experience for everyone involved in the event. The truth is that the grandstand is always filled. It does not lie.

You lose some but you gain some

Motorsport is very conducive to economic growth. From the highend, motorsport technological developments and big enterprises brand displays, from the low end, race queens fees, race marshals lunches, there are clear economic values in it. The most direct businesses are in the auto tuning and modification side. This industry now occupies a significant position in the wider auto industry. It has not seen much growth in the past, but now, associated with motorsport, is a significant player.

Five years ago Pan Delta decided against receiving auto products and modified parts sponsorship. Back then the economy was not good and that decision puzzled many people. But it has proved to be the right decision. By allowing these small sponsors to stay with the teams, races like Circuit Hero and ZIC Superbike can survive and develop. The motorsport industry have to be developed accordingly. If Pan Delta itself scooped up all the sponsors no matter how big or small, then the teams will suffer greatly due to a lack of income and the races will suffer. Leaving the teams and drivers with the room to generate income is the only way. You lose some but you gain some.

Courage to break the ice

Today ZIC is busy everyday with races and commercial activities. A motorsport economy has been created. It is now impacting the various industry here. But ZIC has chosen not to be conservative and decided to make another breakthrough.

From 2016, Pan Delta Super Racing Festival will be officially inaugurated into the Zhuhai Municipal Special Events list. It will join the Zhuhai Air Show, Circus Show and WTA tennis tournament, in becoming the major events that Zhuhai will heavily promote in the next five years. At the same time, ZIC is actively looking to upgrade its facilities, moving from a single purpose motorsport venue to a multi-purpose venue and include such as tourism and commercial facilities. It will help to integrate motorsport into people's life style.

As the first ever permanent circuit in China, ZIC will once again forge its way forward and integrate itself with the city while others are still struggling to survive. This is a new experiment in the Chinese motorsport economy.
