The Macau Road Sport Challenge Group A Race 3 got underway punctually on the morning of May 30. After the lights out, CHAN Tat Man Damon comfortably held onto the lead, with KWOK Ho Cheung and WONG Chuck Pan also retaining their respective positions. HU Zuoliang shot up to fourth at the start before launching an aggressive charge forward and moving past WONG Chuck Pan into third. HUANG Shiwen followed suit with a string of overtakes to climb to fourth. Having lost ground amid the mid-pack battles, WONG Chuck Pan soon came under pressure from trailing driver YIU Lung, who completed the overtake on Lap 2 to secure fifth place.
The leading five-car pack then engaged in laps of back-and-forth battles, with all drivers separated by roughly one second. Mid-race, KWOK Ho Cheung upped his pace and steadily chipped away at CHAN Tat Man Damon’s advantage, cutting the gap down to under half a second. Meanwhile, HU Zuoliang and HUANG Shiwen dropped slightly behind the front runners, while YIU Lung settled into a comfortable solo run clear of the chasing pack.
On Lap 7, an on-track incident brought out the safety car and bunched up the entire field. Once race resumed, drivers were left with just three final laps to stage their sprint to the flag.
CHAN Tat Man Damon attempted to pull clear of KWOK Ho Cheung once more but ran wide slightly at Turn 4. KWOK Ho Cheung immediately closed in and looked to launch an overtake at Turn 9, yet CHAN Tat Man Damon swiftly defended the inside line to fend off the attack. While the pair battled wheel to wheel, HU Zuoliang closed up behind, waiting for an opening. Further back, HUANG Shiwen and YIU Lung fought hard over fourth position.
CHAN Tat Man Damon ultimately held his nerve to clinch a narrow victory by 0.492 seconds, securing another race win following Race 2 of the previous Round. Race 3 Winner Interview: CHAN Tat Man Damon
While not as muggy as the previous two days, the air remained extremely hot with high humidity, posing a tough physical test. It was far from an easy race as the second and third-placed drivers kept me under constant pressure throughout a thrilling contest.
Race 4: KWOK Ho Cheung won with Consistent Driving

On the morning of May 31, Macau Road Sport Challenge Group A Race 4 saw track conditions shift from wet to drying, resulting in fluctuating track grip. Drivers’ car control, tyre selection and tyre management proved critical factors shaping the race outcome.
The 12-lap race got underway on a slippery surface. With rainfall yet to cease completely, nearly all drivers opted to switch to Pirelli wet-weather competition tyres. CHAN Tat Man Damon, KWOK Ho Cheung, HU Zuoliang and HUANG Shiwen lined up in the top four starting positions. Following two formation laps, the race commenced behind the safety car.
CHAN Tat Man Damon, KWOK Ho Cheung and HU Zuoliang all held their positions through the opening lap, while HUANG Shiwen came under pressure from YIU Lung. YIU Lung briefly broke past HUANG Shiwen before the latter struck back swiftly to reclaim his spot. As the two fought wheel to wheel, TSOI Chin Yu had climbed into sixth and closed right in, sparking a fierce three-way battle of attack and defence.

Mid-race, a dramatic twist unfolded within the leading pack. Having comfortably dictated the race tempo up to that point, CHAN Tat Man Damon was handed a time penalty for three track-limit infringements. He was forced to push hard to extend his advantage if he hoped to retain the race lead.
As the race progressed, the circuit surface dried progressively, allowing drivers on slick tyres to gain the upper hand and repeatedly set new fastest laps. Starting from 25th on the grid, CHUNG Kwok Wai Alan from ACE Motorsport mounted a spirited charge through the field. By the closing stages, he had fought his way into contention for a podium finish.
KWOK Ho Cheung managed his gap to CHAN Tat Man Damon perfectly to pull off a come-from-behind race win. CHUNG Kwok Wai Alan secured second courtesy of a crucial overtake on HU Zuoliang. Despite the added time penalty, CHAN Tat Man Damon clung onto a podium finish in third. HU Zuoliang, TSOI Chin Yu, YIU Lung, LOU Cheok In, CHAN Chak Yin, HUANG Shiwen and LO Kai Tin from Team Pro Spec rounded out the results from fourth to tenth respectively.

Race 4 Winner Interview: KWOK Ho Cheung
We’d weighed up tyre strategy ahead of the race and settled on wet tyres for the start. As the track dried out later and tyre degradation kicked in, I had to drive with plenty of caution. Fortunately, I kept my position intact and took the race win in the end. I’d like to thank STARCARS Racing Team for their meticulous car setup every single race; their high level of professionalism allowed me to fully focus on every lap during the race.
