27 Jan 2026 Circuit Hero - The Super Group Competed for the Crown, Zhong Yongqiang Won Another Victory

On January 18th, the main race of the Circuit Hero - Super Group was held at  Zhuhai International Circuit. No. 7 driver of K2C Motorsports, Zhong Yongqiang, won the overall championship by more than 14 seconds. No. 69 driver of the YOU&ME (Sime) team, Lin Zhanpeng, took the second place in the race. No.23 driver of Time Racing Team, Li Baoliang, brought back the third place in the race.

According to the race regulation, the starting order of the main race is determined by the finishing order of the selection race. Zhong Yongqiang continued to start from the pole position, while Lin Zhanpeng and Li Baoliang took the second and third positions respectively for the start.

After the official start of the race, Lin Zhanpeng attempted to attack Zhong Yongqiang from the inside of the first corner after taking the lead. However, Zhong Yongqiang managed to maintain a strong defensive stance and firmly held the top position throughout the race. On the second lap, Zhong Yongqiang set the fastest lap time of the race at 1:50.199, quickly closing the gap with the trailing cars.

With the race halfway over, Zhong Yongqiang held a lead of about 9 seconds. In the rear field, No. 12 driver of Shaanxi Tianshi team, Tao Ye, in the lead of Group A3, suffered a tire blowout and stopped inside the first corner, triggering a yellow flag. However, this incident did not affect the overall progress of the race.

Finally, Zhong Yongqiang crossed the finish line first and received the grid flag, winning the main race of the Super Group . He also successfully claimed the A1 Group championship once again. Lin Zhanpeng took the second place overall and brought back the A2 Group championship. Li Baoliang achieved the third place overall and won the second place in the A2 Group.

In team performance, No. 88 driver Liang Xiaoxian from TRC Team won the second place in Group A1. The third place in Group A2 went to Zhong Decai, the No.99 driver of Jishi Racing Team. No. 71 driver Kuang Runxiong from Gao Weisi Team achieved two consecutive victories in the Group B The No. 96 driver Zhou Yongkang from  YOU&ME(Simei) team and  No. 5 driver Li Jingfeng from Rydanz Tire - LM Racing Team finished as the second and third place respectively in the Group B.

Zhong Yongqiang, the overall champion, said after the race: "Compared to last year, the stability of my car has improved significantly. This also proves that the efforts made by the team after the end of last season have paid off. In this weekend's two races, the car performed extremely well. I hope we can continue to achieve good results after the start of the official season."

The engine's roar gradually subsided, but the competitive spirit remained. The 2026 Circuit Hero - Super Group Race was successfully held. The new season's journey has already begun. There are more exciting moments that all car enthusiasts can look forward to together!
