04 Jun 2026 Circuit Hero-Three Race: Liang Jiahe’s Dramatic Comeback Victory

From May 29 to 31, another thrilling Race of Circuit Hero-Three unfolded at Zhuhai International Circuit. Official tyre suppliers SAILUN Tires and Rydanz Tires provided full-race tyre support, enabling a field of skilled drivers to compete fiercely for honours. In the ten-lap feature race held on May 31, intense wheel-to-wheel racing lasted from start to finish. Starting dead last on the grid, Liang Jiahe from GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy pulled off a sensational comeback, battling past rivals all the way to secure the overall race victory. Lin Shuming from Shan Xi Tian Shi Racing Team took overall runner-up, while Zhang Zhifan, also representing GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy, claimed third place overall.

A total of 18 entries across all classes took part in this Circuit Hero-Three Race, featuring a mix of emerging young talents and seasoned campaigners who delivered spectacular, high-caliber on-track duels.

Qualifying for Circuit Hero-Three kicked off on the morning of May 31. On a damp, rain-soaked circuit, Lin Shuming from Shan Xi Tian Shi Racing Team set the fastest lap of 2:11.024, securing both overall pole position and class A6 pole. Zhang Zhifan from GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy claimed second overall and top spot in Class A5, while Xian Weihao from Gao Wei Si Racing Team finished third overall and took second in Class A5.

Zhang Jianyu from GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy, Ji Gangyi from Rydanz Tires –Zi Ji Ren Racing, Liang Guohua and Yu Yanxue from Zhongshan SRC Racing Team, Chen Qianyi from Jiangmen Xing Rui Team, Liu Runchi from GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy and Ye Guohua from Rydanz Tires –Zi Ji Ren Racing occupied fourth through tenth in the overall standings respectively.

Circuit Hero-Three race got underway on the afternoon of May 31. Under pressure from the chasing pack off the start, Lin Shuming managed to hold onto the race lead. Zhang Zhifan and Xian Weihao sat in second and third respectively, while Zhang Jianyu consolidated fourth place. Yu Yanxue gained two spots to move up to fifth, and Liang Jiahe surged past no fewer than eleven competitors to climb into sixth position.

On Lap 2, Xian Weihao kept mounting attacks on the front-running Zhang Zhifan yet failed to find a way past. Liang Jiahe kept up his aggressive charge, overtaking Yu Yanxue and Zhang Jianyu in succession to move into fourth and steadily closed in on the leading pack.

Mid-race, the gaps between the top four drivers narrowed considerably. Zhang Zhifan closed rapidly on Lin Shuming, while Xian Weihao could do little to fend off Liang Jiahe’s advances, resulting in a position swap between the pair. Liang Jiahe then turned up the pressure on Zhang Zhifan, and taking advantage of their wheel-to-wheel battle, Lin Shuming enjoyed a brief reprieve to rebuild his lead.

On Lap 6, Liang Jiahe broke past Zhang Zhifan to gain another position. After two laps of relentless pursuit, he closed right up to Lin Shuming by Lap 8. The fight for top spot between Lin Shuming and Liang Jiahe went down to the final lap; the pair traded positions multiple times and ran side-by-side through several consecutive corners.

In the end, the championship showdown ended in victory for Liang Jiahe. Lin Shuming settled for the overall runner-up, trailing by 1.496 seconds, with Zhang Zhifan hot on his heels to claim the third podium spot. Xian Weihao, Zhang Jianyu, Yu Yanxue, Liu Runchi, Ji Gangyi, Li Peiquan from GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy and Liang Haihua from Zhongshan SRC Racing finished fourth through tenth overall respectively.

In class results, Liang Jiahe and Zhang Jianyu from GAC Trumpchi Falcon Racing Academy sealed both the Class A1 championship and runner-up honours for the team. Lin Shuming, Ji Gangyi and Huang Jincheng from Rydanz Tires –Zi Ji Ren Racing took the Class A6 title, second and third places respectively. Zhang Zhifan, Xian Weihao and Yu Yanxue claimed the top three spots in Class A5 in order.Liang Haihua, Wu Shaolun and Yang Yunhan from Lifeng Racing finished first, second and third in Class A3. Ye Guohua and Yang Songhui locked out the Class A2 top two positions for Rydanz Tires –Zi Ji Ren Racing.

This Circuit Hero-Three Race has now concluded. 2026 Festival of Wheels will return to Zhuhai International Circuit on October 17–18; stay tuned for more exciting racing!
