13 Oct 2025 Circuit Hero–One, the final Battle saw a fierce competition with Lin Shuming and Zhang Hongzhi each claiming a victory

On October 12th, the Final Round of 2025 Festival of Wheels was splendidly staged at Zhuhai International Circuit. Circuit Hero - One kicked off the final two races of the season. Five groups brought together GT racing cars, TCR racing cars and high-performance modified racing cars of various specifications. The competition lineup is star-studded and full of strong competitors. After a fierce competition, Lin Shuming from Tianshi Team and Zhang Hongzhi from TRC Team successively claimed the overall victory.

The First Race: Lin Shuming from Tian Shi Team steadily broke through and claimed the championship

The first race kicked off after a heavy downpour, and the slippery track posed a severe challenge for all the racers. All the racing cars are equipped with race tires from Pirelli that is the official tire supplier of Circuit Hero-One.

According to the qualifying results, Zhang Hongzhi from TRC Team started from pole position, Sang Si 'en from Santian Team came in second. Lin Shuming from Tianshi Team, Huo Weiming from TRC Team, Zeng Zhilong from 778 AutoSport Team, Cheng Chunhua from Jiangmen Xingrui Team, Huang Dongxiong and Chen Haoting from TRC Team started from the third to the eighth positions respectively.

For safety reason, the safety car led the start of the race. Zhang Hongzhi defended the lead at Turn 1, while Lin Shuming made a quick start and overtook Sang Si 'en to take the second place. As Cheng Chunhua's car got stuck in the sand and gravel buffer zone, the safety car was dispatched again.

After the track rescue operation was completed, the safety car withdrew on the sixth lap and the green flag was waved again. Lin Shuming seized the opportunity and successfully broke through Zhang Hongzhi's defense to take the lead. After that, Sang Si 'en made a mistake at the exit position of Turn 6 and hit the wall. Gao Yong from Haifang Team also ran off the track. Multiple disturbances once again triggered the safety car, and the race ended early as a result.

Lin Shuming, who made steady progress, successfully claimed the overall and Group C victories. Zhang Hongzhi took the second place in the overall race and the championship of Group D, Huo Weiming claimed the third place in the overall race and the championship of Group B.

Lin Shuming said after the race, "Although the rain has lessened, the track is still very slippery. Driving a rear-wheel drive high-power GT racing car under such conditions is extremely challenging." Meanwhile, the road surface was constantly drying out. Controlling the temperature and consumption of the rain tires was also quite important. Being able to persist on the track was the key to winning this victory. The Final Race: Zhang Hongzhi led steadily and claimed the top

In the final race, Zhang Hongzhi once again started from pole position. Sang Si 'en, Lin Shuming, Cheng Chunhua, Zeng Zhilong, Huang Dongxiong, Chen Haoting, Huo Weiming, Wang Nan and He Jinqi from the second to the tenth positions respectively started. Before the race began, there was a few more drops of rain falling over the Zhuhai International Circuit.

After the start, Lin Shuming, with his strong start, immediately overtook the two cars in the front row and rose to the top of the race. However, when he was exiting the Turn 1, the rear of his car slid, causing him to lose speed and fall out of the competition. The safety car was then activated. Zhang Hongzhi seized the opportunity to regain the first place, Cheng Chunhua moved up to second, and Zeng Zhilong jumped to third. Chen Haoting, Sang Si 'en, Huang Dongxiong, Huo Weiming, Guo Haozhang, He Jinqi, and Xiao Meng were temporarily ranked fourth to tenth.

In the fourth lap, the race resumed. Zeng Zhilong attempted extreme late braking at Turn 1 to overtake Cheng Chunhua, but Cheng Chunhua accelerated faster after the route cross and successfully held onto thesecond place. Subsequently, Huang Dongxiong gradually picked up the pace, successively surpassing Sang Si 'en, Chen Haoting and Zeng Zhilong, climbing to the third place of the entire competition.

As the race progressed, the rain on the track gradually intensified. Cheng Chunhua and Zeng Zhilong both lost their speed on the increasingly slippery road surface and gradually fell out of the top three. Zhang Hongzhi played steadily and the balance of victory began to tilt in his favor. Meanwhile, the competition for the second and third places on the track fell among Huang Dongxiong, Chen Haoting and Sang Si 'en. The battle among the Three Chariots was escalating. Chen Haoting emerged victorious, breaking through the encirclement and leaving Huang Dongxiong and Sang Si 'en behind.

In the end, Zhang Hongzhi greeted the waving checkered flag first with a 2.082 seconds lead, claiming the overall championship and sweeping the victory of Group D. Chen Haoting finished the race in second place overall and second in Group D, Huang Dongxiong crossed the finish line in third place overall and third in Group D. TRC team had dominated the podium both the overall and in Group D in the final race.

Zhang Hongzhi said after the race, "It rained a bit in the second race, but my car still raced on dry tires, so I had to carefully explore the limit of grip in every lap, during the competition, the rain intensity changed, and I adjusted my pace in a timely manner. I'm very happy to have successfully brought back the championship.”
