SS600cc Winner
Huang Shi-Zhao (Yes! Yamaha Tianjian Racing)

This year I am very happy to continue representing Yes! Yamaha Racing in the CSBK. I also want to thank Yamaha for their continued support of Chinese Motorcycle Sport. This year we are still fighting for the best results. In the race just now, I made mistakes at turn 9 but still I managed to control the rhythm.

(You passed Xiao Jin quickly on lap 2, could you tell us more?) That was at turn 7, I made a faster exit through the corner and made the pass.

(How has the birth of your son affected your racing?) Actually I am still very passionate about motorsports even after the birth of the baby. He brings to me a very happy life. I still very late now, but it is okay. I still maintain my fitness very well. This year I want to try to achieve some breakthroughs in lap times and techniques, because I still have much to learn. I think he will like motorsport because he is very sensitive to noises from cars.

SS600cc 1st Runner's Up
Xiao Jin (Yes! Yamaha Tianjian Racing)

First of all I need to thank all the media and Yamaha.

(You were very quick at the start, how did you do it?) In the recent race I have been making good starts, my master taught me a little secret, mainly it is to maintain a good rev. You must be ready at the start to catch the right moment.

(There is a rumour that you plan to quit next year?) Next year I definitely won't race 600cc anymore. But there is a chance of me returning for the national production bikes. Now I just want to win from the bottom of my heart. I want to thank Yamaha, they are like family.

SS600cc 2nd Runner's Up
Huang Zhi-Yu (Tianyu DTU Racing)

Althought I did not win this race, I saw my 150cc team dominate the podium, that makes me very happy. In this race, from a rider's point of view, I am still not at my best form. I spent a lot of time establishing the 150cc team, so my fitness is not great either. At the start I noticed the two lead riders manage to pull away and I half gave up the chase, just hoping to finish the two races here. I will try to be fitter for the next race and the last two rounds, then I can fight with them.

(You were leading the second group, but were then overtaken, what happened?) Maybe it was because I had already slowed down and was being conservative, telling myself not to rush and not to crash, therefore I got caught by the second group. We passed and re-passed each other. At that time I thought I could stay in third place and I could have some exchanges with the other riders.

(Your teammate Li Peng-Yu fell off in the race, how is he now?) He is okay. But the bodywork and headlight of the bike was broken. Now the mechanics are fixing it for him, he should be able to take part in race 2.

(Please tell us something about your team.) For the first round there was a lot of minor things we had to get through. We spend all our time on SYM Jiguang Racing and took our eyes off our own team a little bit. In the first round we felt the 150 team has matured in terms of logistics support and performance. My target is to tune up myself and my team in the next two months and try to achieve better results in the next race.

150cc Winner
Zhou Hang-Kai (SYM Jiguang Racing)

First of all I want to thank SYM Jiguang Racing's support and help us setup the bikes so well, allowing us to have such good performances today. Last year because of personal issues I did not race at all. I am rather nervous on my return. But with good riders like Qiu Ming-Xian and Qiu Shi-Yi, we manage to get the whole team going and loosen up. My start was not so good and I was down to third or fourth. I followed my teammate Qiu Ming-Xian to build up my speed and follow our rival. We found an opportunity to pass him and then maintain our speeds. I am very thankful for my win.

150cc 1st Runner's Up
Qiu Ming-Xian (SYM Jiguang Racing)

Today everything went well. Yesterday we had a small problem in the practice sessions, but today we managed to resolve them before the race. In today's race, I made a good start and follow our rival closely and finally passed him on the start/finish straight. After that  I covered my teammates until the end of the race.

150cc 2nd Runner's Up
Qiu Shi-Yi ( SYM Jiguang Racing)

First of all I need to thank everyone at SYM Jiguang Racing, especially Big Head Fish (Huang Zhi-Yu), over this period of time we have spent a lot of time and effort in preparing our bikes. Jiguang's bikes are very good, they allow us to perform well. On the first lap I was slightly left behind in fourth or fifth place, then I got anxious on lap 1 and made a few mistakes and fell further behind. But after two laps I steadied myself and began to close on them. On the last few laps, the four of us were swapping places and it was a little scary. At the last corner on the last lap, I passed Chen Peng-Yuan and crossed the line alongside Qiu Ming-Xian. I am so happy that today in the first race Jiguang Racing achieved such a great result.
