13 Mar 2014 PS Racing to field seven cars in Asia Formula Renault for upcoming Pan Delta Race Festival
On 21-23 March, The 2014 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival will commence at Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC), when Asian AFR Series will also kick off its new season.
Pan Delta Super Racing Festival takes place every March, June and September, featuring live and recorded television broadcasts of Circuit Hero One, Circuit Hero Two, ZIC Superbike Championship and Red Bull Drift Challenge for the over 20,000 fans that attend each weekend. It is one of the largest race events in Asia.
PS Racing will field seven cars in the twenty car AFR grid, with newcomer AFR drivers Sebastien Mailleux and Guillaume Cunnington of France, Germany’s Markus Engel, Canada’s Maxx Ebenal, and Abelardo Cuellar of Mexico.
Cunnington had his first taste of AFR in last December’s final weekend with a podium finish in the Master’s Class and will be joining Engel and Mailleux in the Masters division, while Ebenal and Cuellar will be bringing their varied experience from F2000 at Bridgestone Racing Academy and Skip Barber Racing in North America to join the International Class, with both having raced in RoadSport touring car events at ZIC with great success.
Chinese national Neric Wei and American Pete Olson will be returning to AFR after finishing the 2013 season with 5th in the Asian Class for Wei and 3rd overall for Olson.
