Peugeot's 908 confirmed supremacy in China with a new fastest time for Montagny/Sarrazin ahead of their teammates Bourdais/Davidson.

Both Peugeots are immediately followed by the two Audi R18 TDI of Kristensen / McNish and Bernhard / Fässler. The OAK Pescarolo Nicolet / Pla / Prémat set the fifth fastest lap ahead of the the Rebellion Racing Lola-Toyota Jani / Prost, the two prototypes reversing their positions relative to the first session.

The three protagonists for the title LM GTE Pro are found in the top three places: the two official BMW M3 retain the two fastest times in front of the Ferrari 458 Italia Fisichella / Bruni. The Ferrari F430 GT Krohn Racing was also the fastest LM GTE Am. The four cars were followed by the Mercedes SLS GTC Cong Fu Cheng, Mika Häkkinen and Lance David Arnold, confirming its performance of the first session with the 17th overall time.

Already title holders at Petit Le Mans in the LM P2 the Signatech Nissan Mailleux / Ordonez / Vernay was again ahead of the OAK Pescarolo of Lafargue / Da Rocha.

The second open session was interrupted by two red flags, following excursions in the gravel of the Ferrari of Fisichella / Bruni (turn 9) and the Lotus Evora to Slingerland / Rich / Rasmussen (turn 14).

The Zhuhai 6 hours will be on the 13th November.
