23 Sep 2011 Circuit Hero One Race 2: Sun Tit-Fan wraps it up as Bill overdid it

In the first race of Circuit Hero One on 17th September, Sun Tit-Fan demonstrated an exceptional speed advantage to claim victory. Bill O'Brien and Zhong Fa-An were second and third. The overwhelming advantage enjoyed by Sun somehow has a detrimental effect on the excitement of the race. The spectators hope that after a night's work on the cars, Bill and Zhong Fa-An can give Sun a good run for his money.

At 15:00 on 18th September, Circuit Hero One Race 2 is about to commence. With outstanding performance, Sun Tit-Fan starts from pole position and leads into turn 1. Bill O'Brien, Wei Zhao-Yin and Li Qing-Xin follow. But Sun's massive advantage means the rest are effectively fighting only for second. After just 1 lap, Sun leads by an astonishing 5 seconds. Behind him, Bill, Wei Zhao-Yin and Chen Sui-Hao battle.

On lap 3, Chen Sui-Hao, who missed race 1, seems to be putting in some extra effort in this race. Within 1 lap, he passes Wei Zhao-Yin and Bill O'Brien to take second. But he could not shake them off. The 3 cars run nose to tail and their battle causes the crowd to cheer them on.

In the middle of the race, Sun Tit-Fan's advantage is over 30 seconds. He should have no problems winning the race. As Bill O'Brien and Zhao Wei-Yin battle each other, Chen Sui-Hao sets a few personal best laps to pull out a small gap. He can now feel the 1st runner's up trophy.

In the last two laps, the focus of the race is now full on Wei Zhao-Yin and Bill O'Brien's battle for third. Wei Zhao-Yin only has an 1 second advantage over Bill and any mistakes will lose him the last podium place. With Bill keeping the pressure on, Wei defends very well, leaving Bill with no chance whatsoever and actually makes Bill commits a mistake and drops down to 6th place.

In the end Sun Tit-Fan wins Circuti Hero One race 2 easily, Chan Sui-Hao and Wei Zhao-Yin takes second and third places respectively.
